Much easier than turnbuckles, chain and shackles that end up going into the water and rusting.
If you use Stainless turnbuckles etc, they vibrate loose while driving and if left unattended on the trailer while out boating, they often get stolen.
These ratchet sets avoid all these issues. Simple to remove before launching boat on slipway so they never need to be submerged in the water. Also recommend removing when boat in storage to minimize sun exposure on the webbing, even thought it is good quality Polyester webbing (and not cheaper Polypropylene as typically used) and a set should last the life time of the boat.
