To make telescopic tent poles – ideal for horizontal only. Downward pressure of canvas and guide ropes can cause this cam to slip – but its perfect for the cross pieces.
(PS: You also need to punch the poles to crimp the fitting 3 to 4 times around the circumference of the 22mm tube to ensure a good grip so does not slip).
For uprights, consider either the metal cammed Aussie clamp BEVTENT035 or the pole adjuster BEVTENT009 or this this pole adjuster BEVTENT009(A).
