Fluorinated (This prevents the migration of the fluorocarbons in the fuel from passing through the plastic in the drum, thus preventing fumes and smell in the motor vehicles).High Density Polyethylene and the average wall thicknesses vary from 2.0mm – 4.0mm.
Meets UN spec for ‘*free standing fuel container’. Will only meet UN standards *jerry can is fitted with its original cap and the use of any other closure, or fitment, will negate the UN specification.
