Description
Anchor – Folding – Hot-dipped Galvanized
When to Use a Folding (Grapnel) Anchor
- Best Conditions: Rocky or reefy environments, or on very small boats/dinghies.
- Best Applications: Short-term anchoring, lunch stops, or fishing in shallow, rocky water.
- Strengths: Highly portable, compact, and designed to hook onto rocks, debris, or into crevices.
- Weaknesses: Lower holding power in sand/mud compared to a Danforth; not suitable as a primary anchor in high wind or heavy current.
